This site has been developed because we felt our collection of vintage finds warranted a site devoted to vintage & retro household items!

Sara and Lorraine each run their own successful vintage business. Sara launched sarasattic.co.uk in 2002 and it has received praise from its customers and much media attention. In 2005 it was voted the third Best UK Vintage fashion shop by the Independent. It has been featured in The Sunday Times Culture and most recently in Country Living and Cumbria Life magazines.

Lorraine owns and manages Ritzy Retro, a fabulous vintage boutique in Albion Street, Broadstairs, Kent. It overflows with amazing vintage and retro treasures, items range from 1930's - 1980's. She has an eclectic and discerning customer base and recently supplied items for the new production of Evita, London 2006.

Sara & Lorri have been friends since their early school days in the 1960's & 1970s. They used to share secrets, school books, make-up, records and clothing...

...these days, as they live 400 miles apart and both have families with young children, they juggle work, home, school runs, kids activites and lunch box magic...everything changes but their friendship and love of all things vintage remains...
